my old mercedes had a similar problem. What kind of gas do you fill up? MB recommend you to go to Cheveron or Husky supreme only (ha, sorry I can't spell, the 92 one la)

a long time ago, my mom went to Superstore gas station due to cheapness. She saw a C230 died right outside the station, but didn't pay attention to it. After driving one block, our car died. The car had similar symptom as your car, and we went to service as many times as you did. End up they found water vapour in the gas tank. They have to empty the tank and change all the jets (whatever they are called la, I am not a car person).

but I still recommend you to sell the car back to the dealership........... cuz after we finally fixed the car, although it was still running ok, the performance was not as good as before. We couldn't return it at that time cuz it's mom's stupidity... but for your case, you should return it!
