IMO
canceled your compromised visa card
never associated a visa card with your itune account
create a new itune account (requires a new email address)
get one of those free registration number (free song) from starbuck to register instead of using your visa card info
to buy app/music use itune cards

Too complicated la..  I think my wife does back up for me once a while ..

it's hard for you to prove it. just tell the card centre that which are the unauthorized transaction and they will investigate.
