just curious. next time if you happened to go to one of ur best friend chinese style wedding and they offered shark fin soup in front of u, will u eat it?

i dun think ALL chinese try to show off but may consider it as one of the 美食
as a friend/family, they just want to treat you nice.

what about.....keeping the shark as live-stock? or consume the whole shark and give them a "quick one" when we take them?

agree. then shark fin might not be that expensive anymore. just like regular fish and anyone can enjoy. happy ending.
