One time when I tried to register they asked me for reciepts of those items otherwise they won't do it.  I was like....who in the world would bring/keep their receipts to the airport???!?!?!  Stupid c ...

When i registered my items, they just asked me where and when i bought them.

If i remember correctly, the office opens 24 hrs but you need to ring the door bell.
