Urgent prayer request

Loyaukee..... sorry I don't know if this is the right spot to post this but I think we need all the prayer from everyone!!!!!

here is the story.....this is what happened as of today nov 18, 08

My friend (a couple from church) were on a cruise trip in Europe and Greece was one of the stops. While they were in Athens walking in the street the wife was attacked by a dog. She lost her balance, fell and hit her head against something hard. With a broken skull she was taken to hospital with very serious injury. The doctor there did an operation trying to reduce internal bleeding. The wife was heavily sedated and was in a coma since then.

Got a call from one of our Rev. this morning. The Wife's situation got worse for the past 12 hours. Internal bleeding is recurring and the doctor said they wont' do anything - which means all they can hope for is a miracle. The Wife's parents are on their ways to Athens from Hong Kong. Initially the husband doesn't want to bother any brothers & sisters in church but now he would like as much prayer as possible. As I do not have everybody's email at my office, can I ask you to forward this to as many people as possible asking them to pray for the couple at this difficult time.

pls I don't care what religious you believed in ..... pls pray for them!!!!
Lots had happen to this family in the past few months!!!!

here is an update from the husband today!!!

For all the brothers and sisters who have been praying for "Wife" and our family,

We are very blessed to be Christian and to be family members of Church. No words can appreciate our appreciation for your kindest prayer support. Two days ago, wife's situation had turned from stable to dangerous. Swelling in the brain had started and the speed was so fast to reach a critical level. Director of the ICU asked all the family members to be presented immediately. The director told us that they have done all the things we could, only miracle can help "wife". We started to pray day and night. At the same time, a lot of brothers and sisters have also started to pray day and night. Rev. travelled from Toronto to Athens and rushed to the hospital this afternoon to pray for "wife". Hosptial performed a CT Scan. The result indicates that there is no difference from previous scan. Dr told us that as long as it is not getting worse, it is good news.

As so many people are praying, miracle does happen. "Wife's" father has just received Christ as his personal Saviour before visiting the wife. Rev. prayed and blessed wife's father. We were so joyful and went to ICU to spread the wonderful news to the wife at 7:30pm Athens time tonight. We believe the wife is able to hear the Great News. At the same time, wife's heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature and oxgen level are all normal. We praise the Lord.

In Christ,

(husband)

hi loyaukee.....

Here are the lastest update from athens!!!
Thx for all your prayers
miracle do happen

Dear brothers and sisters,

The doctors had a meeting with husband and his family at 1p.m. wife's condition is as follows:

1. Wife condition is being described as normal now. As compared with last Tuesday that the doctor said they couldn't do anything but waited for a miracle, a miracle has come for "Wife" to survive!
2. She still wants to wake up but the doctors said they cannot let her to wake up now for the swelling in her brain has no improvement.
3. They are going to have another test this Friday or Saturday to determin whether they are going to start the wake up process

It was amazing that Wife's mother heard the Lord Jesus Christ said to her serveral times yesterday morning before our morning prayer clearly, "Do not be afraid, just believe." I have been trying my best
to prepare their hearts to focus on Jesus and His Cross. It is surely a tough time but the blessings are pouring down to them everywhere and everyday.

two newest update from athens!!!!

Dec 04, 08 Husband - "thank you and all the brothers and sisters who have been praying, fasting and supporting us. We are very grateful and blessed as family of the church. Today, wife opens her eye and mouth. She can not speak at the moment. I asked her whether she knew who I am for few times. She did not response. My heart was broken and tears running down from my face.  Dr told me it would take days in order to assess her brain damage since she has just waken up. I kneed down to praise the Lord for what He has done; first saved wife's life; second helped her out of coma. Without your fasting and prayer, miracles won't happend. Thank you everyone. In Christ, husband

Dec 05, 08 Husband -"today Dr. told us that wife is improving. She is breathing by her own. But body temperture has raised from 37.4 to 37.7. Dr is still trying to reduce the body temperature. Wife appears very tired. She is able to move her shoulder and neck. I talked to her. She did not response. I sang 2 songs to her. She turned her face and watched when I sang. I told her that there are many brothers and sisters are praying for her. In Christ, husband

Lovely Weather today......

let me bring you some joy and warmth to Vancouver la.....

UPDATE!!!!!!!!

Dear brothers and sisters,

May I share with all of you the joy of welcoming the wife and husband home:

- Waiting at the Medic Airfield essorted by a RCMP officer for the plane to land at 3:30a.m.
- Seeing the plane park right in front of me
- Hugging the husband when he walked down the stairs
- Standing with the husband -12 degree outside waiting for the paramedics to move wife from the plane to the ambulance
and prayed for wife inside the ambulance
- Went to VGH following the ambulance and a police car
- Gathering in the waiting room for two hours with wife's sister , Wife's boss with her husband, the police officer and husband. We were sharing, cring, laughing...
- prayed for the wife and husband and then sang our church anthem besides her ICU bed
- knowing the wife wanted to wake up right after the prayer and the singing. She was put to
sleep by nurses right away for she wanted to pull the tubes away
- listening to the husband sharing of how he experienced God. He is going to witness this tomorrow
during our 8:30a.m. and 11a.m. services
- I am home now giving thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ and thanking all of you for your month's of prayer since we knew the accident on 16 November 2008(Sunday). Her accident was on 12 Nov.

Let's pray for the wife's complete recovery. It may be a long period of time, may be a year, may be a few months, may be...

Our Heavenly Father, thank you for saving the wife and loving husband, wife and their family in their most critical moments. We also give thanks to you for giving us an opportunity to learn what Emmanuel really means and how important it is that we support each others through prayers, fasting, caring and love. We beseech you to pour down your blood and grace to wife to heal her and to the husband for healing and strengthening. They both need your healing, annointing and blessings and so as we in this changing world.
In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Sunday morning the husband was in church sharing....it was very touching when everyone prays for the husband.....

here are some pix our rev. took when the plane arrived in Vancouver

Finally they are HOME!!!!!!
