Too bad, even it's cruel but this is the realistic.
Poor people are everywhere, and laws and regulations are there too.
Can poor people eat free at any restaurant? Can poor people study free at any university? Can poor people live free in any deluxe house? Can poor people have free tickets on bus, train, and airplane?
If so, I really want to be one of them.

Yes, this is so simple, as you said. But you don't even understand for what you said!
Everything has a needed procedure, people have to apply for it. Can you steal the teacher's money as student loan? Can you steal food in supermarket as taking food from food bank? Even your feeling and anger is understandable, doesn't mean you can be that brainless and naive.

No need to relate to deeper politics. It's very simple. Regulations are there!
If poor students can bring their families to 宿舍, why richer students cannot? So it's a special authority and privilege to poor ones? Doesn't make sense. Once one case is allowed to do so, everybody can do the same, then all regulations will become meaningless (same to laws). Do you think all regulations and rules and laws shouldn't even need to exist in the first place?
Nobody 逼死 her. It's her own problem. She chose how her life ended. Why blame on others, why it was others' responsibility?! Be mature.

阿Lik大佬, one thing is one thing, two things are two things. Please don't mix them up.
Please don't tell me she jumped down all because of this sentence "無錢就咪鬼來讀書". Then her heart was so fragile, will commit suicide sooner or later anyways even she can't catch a bus or something. Again, it's her problem. Why blame the school?
If you are that 有良心同有人性, go take her mom and all dependents to your home and you raise them all lor. Don't just talk here on the paper!

小弟就係one of the poor people who nearly studied FREE at HKU...
有一年full grant full loan, 另外兩年就差少少咁law.
