So several lyk have seen the same thing too = may be thats normal in China and everyone here  was 大驚小怪 ?

Well, every country has it's own culture, which most likely would be quite different from many other countries la. If it's pretty popular for people eating human meat in Africa, would you be surprised if you see people do the same here? Or just 大驚小怪 ? Haha........

OK, let's make it fair. We have so many negative comments about mainlander here, but there are also some of us said some mainlanders they met/knew are actually quite nice. Anyone want to share how nice the mainlander(s) you met/knew are they?

Most mainlanders I've met are really nice. Maybe because I work at a graduate business school, they are well educated, well mannered. All of my co-workers, mostly white people, agree that the group  ...

Any more concrete example other than just "they are very nice"? For the bad examples, people won't say "they are bad", but very visualize like "they pee on airplane" etc. Can you tell "how nice" they are? And how are they "nicer" to other people ar? If the standard is, "0" mark means normal, some of the mainlanders are "0" mark but they are already better than many "below 0" marks mainlanders, and so we called them "nice"? If so, still below the standard of "nice" la. What do you think?

Are people from East Indian and West Indian the same? Nope. Are people from HK China and Mainland China the same? Nope. Even other people might not able to distinguish, there is difference between them. No matter how hard we try, we are still a tiny group of individuals. If the China government doesn't educate or re-educate its own people, nothing we can do about to improve the global impression of how people look at Mainland China people/Chinese. But even so, it's not going to get changed that easily in the next 10 or 20 years la.

*PS: We're not talking bout "all" Mainland China people are bad, everything has exception geh. But nice Mainland China people are just the very minority of the whole population lor. (note: well educated in terms of academic background doesn't necessary mean they're "nice".)

I don't quite care about the hidden intention, but at least the outcome is good! And it's a nice packaging!
We have signs posted by the cities for $2000-$3000 penalty if dog owners don't clean up after their dogs, but still dogs poo everywhere! Isn't it CAD$2000 a lot of money? Smoking is not allowed inside elevators and would be fined for a few hundreds, but how many times we still smell smokes inside? People don't want to behave well they don't discipline.
So, why Japanese people are willing to behave well (no matter what true reason behind), but not other people (people from other countries won't mind having bad luck or what?)?

In addition, "Chinese" (mainly HKese) really know how to discriminate others well.
For example, people in HK Island think they're more superior than people in Kowloon; and then people in Kowloon think they're more superior than people in NT. Then, people in Central think they're higher class than people in Causewaybay, but then people in Causewaybay think they're higher class than people in Chai Wan! People in "Hong Kong" (neglecting HK Island or Kowloon or NT) will look down/discriminate their own "Hong Kong people", no need to say how they see people from other countries la (especially from Mainland China)!

Chinese do discriminate with each other, no matter from hk, taiwan or mainland (and I know some southern chinese dont get along with northern part of chinese). dont just target on hk ppl, ok?

we do ...

That's why I said "mainly" but not "only".
And, I only wrote some examples happen in HK, can't list all the similar examples all over the world la.
