Corruption is quite common all over the world, not only in China.

China is among the less corrupted countries, less corrupted than the US or India.

Do you even have any idea of the difference in scale of corruption and adultery in China vs in US?  ...
Lik 發表於 2011-8-16 16:28

The scale of adultery in European countries is very large. Just look at the French CEO of the IMF case. Many Italian prime minsters were involved in adultery scandals. It is "normal for Europeans, since they see so much of it. The Bill Clinton case in the US.
Countries like Greece and India are more corrupted than China.

Actually, it was the British that created the economic bubble in Hong Kong before the 1997 Asian financial crisis.

Wah... See some fire in this posting again....

BTW, just for comparison, I think HKers used to holding hope (not desperate) in the old days (pre 97') than recent times (post 97')... An obvious difference a normal HKer can tell..

lo_pak 發表於 2011-8-17 10:05

This is nonsense. The 1980s and early 1990s were the high economic growth period of Hong Kong.
There is no place in the world that can maintain high growth. When the Hong Kong economy reaches maturity, the slower growth rate is just normal.
A developing HK during the 1980s is very different from a mature developed HK now. We cannot compare two different stages of development.

You need to understand economics and social developments.
