Did Aberdeen cafe actually make $300,000 sales in a month? That is $10,000 a day, including the slow days. Assuming each customer spends $20, that means they need to have 500 customers a day.
If they could not balance the books, then how could the Taiwanese restaurant next door?

I went there many times on different days and from my observation, even on a busy Saturday, they still had problems having 500 customers a day. Now, just think about how many customers they had on the slow weekdays. We don't even know how he could make up the $300,000 a month sales number.

You moron, I didn't say we should open another coffee shop at Aberdeen. That location may not be viable at all. My plans are more ambitious than that. So please broaden your horizon.

I was saying that the Chinese companies, whether in HK or China should set up a Chinese managed high-class coffee chain store. This is in response to multi-national chains like Starbucks and others. Obviously, many Chinese people like coffee, so we need to attract those customers rather than just allow foreigners make all the money from us.
