It is the same analysis with any team. You have to understand that these athletes are under pressure. You need to know how to relieve of the pressure and athletes have different ways of dealing with it. If you lost a game and you became uptight, you will lose again. You can even crack a few jokes with your teammates.
This is actually a non-issue, but the bashers are jumping on this chance. You keep on saying the Chinese has no passion. This is not only unfounded but the coach himself has since said that he is satisfied wit the team. The way I see it is that the Chinese are full of passion and they know how to deal with the pressure rather than being too uptight after losing a game.
The coach was so unprofessional with his unfounded comments. He claimed that he will not resign with Chinese team because he wants to be closer to his wife in Montreal. He claimed that some of the Chinese curlers will retire after this. But these are all irrelevant comments that should be made after the competition.
