Assorted sushi is good, but forget the boat or any wooden vessels, THEY DO NOT GO INTO DISHWASHER the ceramic engineers would just give them a rinse then put aside to dry.

This is what I suspected for a long time. Since these sashimi or sushi do not have a lot of grease, they do not need to use detergent to wash these wooden dishes. In Japan they do this as well. So it is very dirty to eat Japanese food, since the raw fish are not cooked and the dishes are not washed.
You better stick with ramen or stir fried soba that would put grease on the plate or bowl. |
