佢哋 好樂觀嘅
呢啲野 唔會發生嚮佢哋身上嘅

I saw a video recently on Fairchild TV, in the US, a robber attacked a lady at night on the street. Someone who sleeps on the street helped that lady, but was attacked with a knife.
The robber left, then the lady also left without helping the guy. Then the close-caption camera nearby, recorded that about 10 other people came by without helping, until near morning, when someone finally called the police.
Now, these are not Chinese people, so don't generalize the Chinese.

你都識講係露宿者
好多原因啲人唔會去騷擾啲露宿者嘅
個女人走咗 會唔會係驚嚇過度而走咗
...

But the fact is that, many people walked by without helping.
It was not the lady who came back to help.

Like I said, this type of incident happened in many places before. So don't generalize the Chinese.

Ask yourself this question; would you have gone and helped if you walked by?

hahaha, you better ask yourself, would you have helped?
Now, we all know you are a nice Canadian and a nice ethnic Chinese.

In this example, it happened at night, but I am sure there are incidents that happened during the day. Like after some traffic accident, people just drove by without helping. both here and in the US. So don't generalize the Chinese.
