Just stop wasting time on that moron who has no background on research engineering.

The only thing that he did was assembling PCs, and some cables for other people, LOL.
How pathetic?

Some other countries can design their own make indigenous CPUs that are compatible with x86, so they can run the same software.

Exactly, I used AMD and Intel, as an example of different designs that can run compatible softwares, but those bashers just won't listen.

But AMD and Intel are different designs, both compatible with x86 instructions.
The Japanese need to buy the company that invented SPARC, because they are not capable of making their own CPU design.
AMD is capable to design their own CPU, just like the Chinese Loongson project is able to design their own CPU.

You got the wrong concept here. Just take AMD as an example. AMD's design is different from Intel's, even though both support x86 instructions.
Are you saying AMD people just sit there and do nothing?
AMD's CPU are different from Intel's. AMD over the years has increased the number of cores in each CPU and shrink the process, 65nm, 45 nm, 25nm etc.

You should forget about discussing here, since clearly you do not have the education background to continue this discussion.

This is a fair comparison. The Chinese Loongson CPU started as a university research project, where professors and graduate students worked on the design of the Chinese CPU.

But some people here make an excuse to discredit the Chinese researchers, for the purpose of anti-Chinese bashing, that has become so common on this forum.

TOP

Then Peter can you explain why you discredit fujitsu Researcher using the same theory ?
MoiRhapsody 發表於 2011-6-23 20:39

The reason is that Fujitsu had to buy HAL Computer Systems, an American company that designs the SPARC compatible CPU. This shows Fujitsu has no CPU design capability.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HAL_Computer_Systems

The Chinese Loongson project did not buy another company. They started from scratch and design their own MIPS compatible CPU.

You moron, you already admitted previously that the Chinese designed their own CPU. So you should stop contradicting yourself.

Fujitsu had to buy HAL Computer Systems, an American company that designs the SPARC compatible CPU. This shows Fujitsu has no CPU design capability.
