It looks like very strict in China, but even the US/Canada government can hook any phone calls any time.  In Washington DC, even today, any planes taking off from the airport need to turn to the correct direction, instead of towards the White House or the Capitol Hill, otherwise fighter jets will intercept. Considering the recent Xinjiang trouble makers, maybe they think it s necessary to take these measures.

Probably can't do this without an application to the courts, followed by a review of the evidence to deem whether the measure is necessary. If such steps are not taken, privacy advocates would be thr ...

You moron, they can hook any phone any time. This is the way US/Canada deal with potential terrorists. If you do not know the details, just STFU.

If they need to apply to the court every time they want to track down potential terrorists, it would delay the efforts to contain them.

Is every cab driver and their passenger spies? Is every pigeon being used to carry messages for terrorist groups? If that's the case, then ok, I totally agree with that the CCP is doing.

Should I rebuke you again, or should I just let you embarrass yourself?
They are not saying everyone is spy. You see, how do you know if a passenger is a Xinjiang terrorist if you don't listen to what he says? There are tens of thousands of surveillance cameras in London, UK. Is every person a spy there?

Clearly, Lik does not care about the safety of the Chinese people, especially after the recent Xinjiang riots. I would speculate that all you do is monitor the internet for your British masters and wait for chances to spread your anti-China rhetoric.

hahaha, I already gave you some examples showing you that other countries like the US and UK are doing the same thing. But you are still fixated on China only. Clearly, there is something wrong with you. How come it is okay for UK to put tens of thousands of surveillance cameras?

hahaha, I am not saying which country is doing it right or wrong, but different countries, so different situations. These are temporary measures leading up to the Chinese National day. But in London, the CCTV cameras are always there. You guys just keep on fixated on China.

We have to understand that, the system is meant to protect the cab drivers. When the cab driver feels he is in danger and calls the police by pressing a button, only then will the system be activated to capture the conversation inside the cab.

Lik has never been to UK at all, even though he thinks British culture is superior.
