Mr Lik you should broaden your horizon.

Hong Kong owned factories are mainly in lower value manufacturing like clothings and toys.

But local Chinese conglomerates in Shenzhen like TCL, Huawei and ZTE etc, are involved in much higher value-added technology production.

Major Chinese companies like Ping An Insurance and 招商银行 are major drivers in the financial sector in the Shenzhen and Dongguan regions.

Hong Kong is getting better and better, not worse.
With China as the hinterland, Hong Kong's status as a world financial center is getting stronger and stronger. Hong Kong has big financial surpluses, while most other western countries are near bankrupt.

The mad dog Wong protest culture is crap as its violates other people's rights, and is despised by most Hong Kong people.

Hong Kong has 7M people, not 700M.
