sorry guys. i just ran into a friend. whom i havnt met for 21 yrs. i was a bit over my head. sure you can judge. the parents. for torturing their kids. and call the kids helpline. or judge. them. for showing off. cux. if i were the parents. without the kid. i am a nobody. and i dont see no difference. in forcing the kid. to study books. in here. or forcing the kid. to hold a machine gun. in the middle east. i went thru that same process myself.

OK man. some of you have sorta offended my friend (the mother of the kid in the three character classic). she is asking me to send this out. once you finish reading. you can decide: whether you wanna

(A) make some more points on the educational system.
(B) find someone to hack my computer to death.
(C) start a poll and see other LYK's pov.
(D) find another kid. around the same age. recite the same verse. and prove her kid wrong.
(E) go to bed. assume you did not make judgement on her kid.

she might not sue anybody for libel or defamation at this point.

雖然佢得3 1/2 years-old, 佢識的東西是佢臨瞓, 我同我老公當講故仔同佢講的, 講吓講吓佢就記得的,
佢仲識讀一些法文, 例如 1 - 10, bonjour, merci,
佢識唱 Do-re-mi (現在可能唔記得),
佢識唱帝女花頭四句,
佢會記得我同我老公家族每一個人的英文名同關係, 例如Lisa 姨婆, Jimmy 舅公.....
佢會記得巴士號碼及路線.....

please tell your friends, don't worry, we are not normal Hongkong people, I will let more freedom for him and his life. and that's why he didn't go Kindergarten in last year, he's bigger than same age in coming September K1 class.

i didnt mean to take it personal. trying to speak in a more neutral tone. if you actually believe the kid is poor and pitiful. you might as well. contact 小童群益會 and see if they will intervene (i am pretty sure. forcing a kid to study. without bodily harm. is neither considered as mistreat nor abuse. under the current legal system).

not that he is my kid. being a 2 yr old (at the time the video was shot). able to memorize all that. is pretty amazing. and i share that same video to my family. to pass the happiness around.

but again. perhaps. in canada. or the west in general. 三字經 doesnt ring a bell to many of us. esp the younger generation. and we dont need 三字經 for a job interview in canada. i didnt mean to say you have lost your cultural roots. its just the way it is. where we are now.

and whether those who critize my friend's kid have

(A) a bad childhood memory they cannot get rid of
(B) not enough understanding of the kind of work parents put into their kids
(C) the tendency to bully whenever they see a chance
(D) still under the hierarchy of their own parents
(E) are drunk or stoned as they were typing

the funny thing is: the kid. is neither mine. nor yours. and why. are we doing this. and taking it so seriously.
