And we all know that if we are Canadian (of) Chinese (descent), there is always sth the white guy doesn't understand / wouldn't bother to learn / don't really need to know / or maybe he does know, about us. Meanwhile the English was so powerful I could be completely lost ...

some people are not aware of the fact that they are making a 'chok' face. by giving it a proper term it helps.

其實chok樣係一個網絡現象，亦係網絡文化。如果五十年後既歷史學家睇返我地，呢個係我地era既identity。個terminology係起源於Hong Kong China。就好似有啲西人同我講chasing the dragon 亦係起源於HK 既追龍。係我祖父母年代既term。當majority同時去做一樣野，呢個可以話係：文化既結晶，no matter how stupid or absurd it looks. People are dying to capture the moment (or to fit it) and looking for individuality (metaphorically). Altho when f3 one is acting the same way, the individuality could be gone by then. You must have either been a follower ... unless you can see what they are doing wrong (or mundane) and you walk a different path. We are all responsible for defining ourselves live our lives to the extreme if not the best.  Meanwhile searching thru the middle ground pushing forward the established ideology in what kind of rules are accepted to be broken for the greater good ... In short, I am full of crap.
