1. Taiwan Beef Noodle House (24hrs) - notoriously filthy kitchen and sub-par hygiene in food handling. It's been shut down by the VCH multiple times.
2. Kirin, downtown - trust me...rodent infestation is even affecting office tenants on the above floors. Serivce: both thumbs down. Definitely, not a business lunch pick for serious.
3. Posh (Burnaby Location) - dame it service...its more like a teen fun house than a proper restaurant. Been there twice so I guess two strikes, you are out. I will stick to their Broadway location.
4. Noddle place on McMurray Ave (A-X Metrotown). It is a noodle joint run by China migrants. Great chinese accent in deco, including their menu until u realize everything comes from the same seasoning and soupbase. I was indugle in the pleasure of MSG until buddy of mine says: its rather on the sweet side, ain't it?...yeah it is...everythign taste like sugar afterwards. quick service...because again: one soup base = 10 different dishes.
5. Tomaiko sushi on Broadway; Never a fan of all u can eat sushi. As Ellen DeGeneres said: c'mon who needs all u can eat deal...we r not hibernating. Try to be diplomate here: Sushi place + honger's management = bad news. + all u can eat = nightmare. |
