[中餐館] Kingsway & Slocan Kingsway, Slocan, amp

There's a chinese restaurant at the corner of kingsway and slocan in vancouver.  It's right across from churchs chicken.  Anyone tried before?

    you meant the one on fraser and eh...47th something like that? that one is called 君 "yee" not 悅 hehe sorry don't know how to type chinese...I'm just copying those words not the same name wor....^_^ at first I thought they are the same too.....but I guess not much people know about the one on kingsway and slocan ba since no one is replying....

君悅 was closed for a long time a few years back?

Does it re-open recently ?

    it was closed? I just realized it starts opening in the afternoon or night because every time I pass by in the morning it's not opened. you been there few years ago ga?

    but then don't you find out that lots of the chinese restaurants in vancouver especially on kingsway somehow look like this? hahaa....but just maybe the food inside isn't as bad as we thought....to be honest the few dim sum restaurants beside this one (same block) if it wasn't because of my friends said it's pretty alright I wouldn't even try going there you know what I mean? ^_^

but then again I guess lyk people either didn't even know such place exist or never tried hehe....

because I realized at night the parking is so so so packed that's why I wonder how it is there

Many years ago I went there for dinner. Ordered one fried rice. Found Chicken Feet Nail there... alm ...

    wow omg that's disgusting....how many years ago was there? ^_^ because people said it closed down and reopened, I wonder if the owner is still the same......

aw...at least you didn't really hurt yourself but did you tell the owner what happened in their rice? tell him/her to try out the rice him/herself

    hahah I know what you mean but then the thing is maybe sometimes it's the materials here don't meet the standards in their native country let's just put it this way.  I still heard lots of people saying even famous cooks in HK moved here and cook here but their food just isn't so impressing but if you go back to HK LOTS of the stuffs are way better than here. so I guess material and location really matters a lot even if the cook is the same.  maybe they can get the same material here but the quality might be different.  oh oops I guess we are a bit off topic here eh....I guess no one else would suggest anything about this restaurant ba....
