I had a FWD car with ABS and 4-seasons tires and it stopped as good as, if not better than my other RWD car with  snow tires on, but NO ABS,  in heavy snowy days when I was living in Utah and Colorado.fy789 發表於 2011-2-9 12:22

I have to disagree with you on this one...
I agree that for stopping a car, it doesn't really matter that much whether it is FWD, RWD, or AWD.
But, I don't think that ABS is adequate to compensate the difference between snow tires and all season tires in snow.

Provided with the same amount of traction from the tires and road conditions.  4WD/AWD would help no ...
