LOL...so many ppl joined this group. Apparently my parents know the ppl from mediaone + Ncix who organized this, and in the beginning they mentioned that they and hins disagreed over some things. there was supposed to be WAY MORE, and even an autograph session. I think it's because of this dispute, that's why we didn't see any publicity for the concert. I don't think its supposed to be a concert in the first place, because the ppl also said that they didn't pay hins enough or something, so obviously his manager won't let him do as much. The NCIX/Mediaone ppl wanted to make it seem like a concert, and over-charged us. I can guarantee that most of the money did not go to hins, if it did, the concert would have been way longer and there would have been more publicity + autograph session. I also heard the winner didn't get their gift certificate to NCIX =.=" Someone should really bring this to the general public ><

Just want to clarify some things from the dancers' end:
Things we find out on show day
Main stage size 1/2 of what was told (Orchestra pit was indicated as closed, opened for the cameras)
Plasma screens were supposed to be raised BEHIND risers, not IN FRONT
Cue TV screen ON stage with monitors larger than told.
No FMs, no standby calling. No audio/visual given in changing room on show progress.
No crew available in backstage.
No rehearsals with Hins (after repeated request and standing by for 4 hrs on Thurs "hoping")
No stage rehearsal scheduled with Hins
Only 2 dance numbers had rehearsal with music.
Order of numbers were changed on the fly without considering possible costume change issues. End up not having enough time to change for 3 of 4 entries.
Paper shreds "hazard warning" during production meeting disregarded during showtime. At least 2 dancers skidded and 1 twisted ankle due to amount of paper on floor. Ever tried dancing on marbles? |
