人民網訊12月2日，記者看到位於杭州臨平星橋鎮的天都城住宅小區內國內首座仿法國埃菲爾鐵塔剛剛竣工，旁邊的高層住宅大樓還在施工中。

據瞭解，這座仿法國巴黎埃菲爾鐵塔按1︰3比例縮放設計修建。全塔由基礎和上部鋼構組成，塔基為大體積混凝土現澆承台和鑽孔樁基組成。塔身為全鋼構連接件組成，整體鋼結構件總重達1000餘噸。全塔共分8個區段，每區段設有觀光休息平台，配有斜向直升電梯供遊客上下，塔身總高度108米。
