VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - It feels like we are living in a leaderless province.  The NDP has seized the political spotlight from the Liberals, with the search for a replacement for Carole James now underway.

There are at least half a dozen names being tossed around, from Jenny Kwan to Moe Sihota.

News1130 hit the streets of Vancouver to see what you thought about James' decision to step down Monday and who could possibly take her spot.  Among the people we spoke with, no one seemed to have a decisive answer.

"I haven't seen anyone done with it what they say they're going to do.  It's historical.  I've never seen anything like this... I don't know if we're gullible or what the answer is.  Nobody does what they say they're going to do, so after a while you just turn off and that's kind of where I'm at."

Some candidates who could take a run at the job include, Burnaby Mayor Derek Corrigan; Opposition House Leader Mike Farnworth; former president the Government Employees Union George Heyman or Vancouver mayor Gregor Robertson
