sold all my cameras....no more camera....this was taken 2 weeks ago.  Just ordered the d lux-4 today, hopefully can take some pictures from the p&s soon.

Just got my new camera yesterday, Leica D LUX-4 stright out from camera, no edit.
Really likes this camera.  Photo taken in a brewery near Seattle.

the camera itself is USD $849.99, bought at B&H, so its around CND $920 now.  Still waiting for the assessories to arrive.  I think the main difference between LUX-4 and LX3 is the body styling, I assume LUX-4 would be a bit better built if not a lot, video mode is 30 fps (LUX-4) vs 24 fps (LX3).  People on other forums says that their raw format is exactly the same, saving at jpg will have some difference (not too sure about this, and I want to know too), and the Leica does not have adpator mount for the ultra wide angle lens, and filters.  Over all I am very statisfy with this camera, I think noise up to 800 are usable, and most of the time even in dark places, you can still use f.20 and iso 80 to take sharp pictures.  Thanks!

yes, i did adjust the cruve i think, but just a little, let me post the original only with brightness adjusted. shoot a little darker coz want to maintain at iso 400.

aperture mode, F/2, 1/2 sec, iso 400, ev +.3, evaluative metering mode, O.I.S mode 2, dynamic film mode, from jpg, brightness adjusted, handheld.
