That is why I gave money to Indonesia without even thinking, but I have not given a penny to Japan ...

I still do not understand why we need to GIVE money/gas/water to Japan: Japan is not Haiti or indonesia. Japan is not a third world country and there is no lack of money in Japan and it can always buy what it wants or arrange payment later.
Personally I would rather Japan becomes poorer and weaker. It will be less aggressive and less dangerous to other countries. As of now, even with the diaster at home, Japanese patrol boats are still claiming Chinese waters/islands as theirs.
