epl1/2 - Too big being a handy P&S, I use it only for playing with M lenses. M43 sensor isn't that impressive at all esp in low light.
Lx5 - Great built as a P&S. Though can be get used to, its button arrangement seems a bit cumbersome sometimes. It took me 20 mins to figure out where the movie mode was the first time I used it. Leica optics is a joke here.
s95 - Great built as a P&S. Typical canon colours that I have felt tired of, otherwise it should be the most user friendly choice amongst the three and should easily appeal to most lady users.
One small note : epl2 inherits some sensor-software faults that would cause unpleasingly strong flare in extreme lighting (too dark and too bright). I don't know what the issue is called in English but it was once widely covered in Chinese media. Check for " epl2 佛光" if you are interested in knowing before making a decision. |
