For example, one is a newbie in cooking and wants to cook good French dishes, you tell him/her better to start with instant noodles first. OK, once he/she becomes an "expert" in instant noodles, can he/she cook decent French dishes immediately?
I think, to learn taking photos by a "stupid camera" or "prosumer" or DSLR is totally different (but base on the same photographic theories), one can start with any "beginner level" or higher level camera of that particular category.
But I think the problem is the newbie right now doesn't know whether he/she likes instant noodle or French cuisines more. If you try to learn French food and find out that you don't like it, it may lead you to think that all food is bad. |
