You think it's better to have the hands frozen? Kind of lifeless to me in that case.  I usually use the same speed (1/60) for all my concert shots.

Yesterday I read a "Pro" saying you should always use the fastest shutter possible even if you have to bump the ISO to 1600.

To me it's exactly the opposite.  I would try to use the lowest ISO possible unless the blur is unacceptable to me.  You suffer significant color loss when you use such a high ISO and color is way more important to me than a little bit of blur.

This is one of the best shots taken by the biggest entertainment newspaper in town.

ANYWAYS﹐我喜歡仔細欣賞﹐觀察﹐人物既眼神﹐軀體﹐手腳﹐姿勢﹐等等。要BLUR﹖就BLUR 背景。再有條件的話﹐BLUR 前後景﹐提昇立體空間感。

基本上呢張相構圖表情都唔錯
but the color is just downright awful that there is no way you can enjoy this shot at all.

I always felt I was wasting the lens but recently I've been able to get nice color out of it.
