From the map, looks like it is away from Whistler village by 16.5km on the road.  So it is like 20mins drive only.  

I don't think there is any place for overnight staying there.  Just stay at Whistler.  For cheaper stay, consider Squimash which needs 50km drive, but there is no night life at Sequmash at all.
