as i remember, there is no point since they can't proof who is doing it.  if you dispute it, the chance of winning is min.  the cop will tell you when did they exam the machine, what did they do and what is the chance of making mistake.  if money is not the big issue, just pay it la, save your time.  otherwise, ask for a discount

as my understanding, if you admitted it in the court, it doesn't count at the driver nomination.  
i remember the judge said he has no control of the points, so even though you are guilty, he won't give you the points.
