Sorry to ask this stupid question.  Do you think I need to buy a snow tire if I have a 4 wheel drive SUV?  I have a set of brand new all seasons on now, but since everyone is saying this winter is gonna be a lot of snow, do you think I will be safe with my all season tires on my SUV? or shall I change to a new sets of winter/snow tires for this winter?  many thanks!

Thanks Catpiano!  Sorry I'm still confused.  Yeah, my suv came with summer performance tire, but I just recently change a new set of all seasons tire on my SUV (thinking it would be better for winter time), so do you think it will be better if I buy a new set of winter tires?  Or shall I just keep this one?  Would it be safe lets say if the snow condition this year would be similar as 2008?

Thanks very much for all the great advice. Now I feel much better, and I will just keep my all seasons tire for this winter, and drive with extra cautious. Thanks guys!!
