Credit problem? Credit, problem

I received a call today that is 1800, he said he represent a&b sound  to collect  (so is HSBC) a loan. I didn't had anything from a&b sound. He ask me my birth date, last four digits of SIN. He told me the address but that not correct from mine. So , what should I do now, he ask me to paid.....but of coz, why I need to paid, that not my stuff!!! will that effect my credit? what should I do now? call police?

nope, get a credit evaluation for yourself. both equifax or transunion is good...

I'm too mad today, I forgot to ask the phone # to call back....what should I do now, I never get any statement...
