I just got back to Van city, spent the last two days eating drinking shower and reflecting on my trip in HK, plan on my next few months. Chilaxing at home, in HK, I wouldn't be able to do this, the home is too small, the air is too polluted, the sounds of traffic on the noisy streets. People in HK think life here is boring, poor them, they never get a chance to stop and think. Life is good here, no need to fight like a soldier in HK, but HK always have it's good sides. Massages, get to live like king with those Thai/Philippine maid/slaves, lower expenses. I also enjoy people looking up to me since I am from a "foreign country" Nevertheless, I'll take Canada over HK anyday. Hundred of years from now, when people look back at us, a bunch of pioneeers from HK and other overcrowded cities in Asia settled in Vancouver, they are probably gonna marvel at what we created. A new civilization of made of different cultures, I don't want to say we are more elite than rest of the world, but we are definitely richer in wealth. |
