it's easier to say than to "sell".  I'm trying my best to make lots of christmas cards to sell to my co-workers and bosses.  (Sadly, I'm broke due to over-spending on scrapbooking materials)  They do love my cards but hand making cards take lots of time.  Usually, with the limited materials, I can only make max 3 cards of the same design...  

gosh, you can tell I really seriously thought making some money out of something I love to do....

當我有心想賣卡之後，我都有留意啲街舖賣handmade cards。好似VCC書店咁，好simple都$3.75一張。不過一個轉轉架起碼擺100張卡大概。每張3-5個copies....　計過度過唔係可以自家咁做到...  反而真係啲花店就會有機，因為一個counter，十個八個款已經夠。
不過俾完commission，所剩無幾...

I think it looks great, Rainy!
The only thing that I could think of to make it look even better is to use foam stickers behind the snowman and the christmas trees, so then the card would look more 立體.

But the color combination and the layout is great!!!!

I use copic marker + colour pencil.
The background I use distress ink and the application tool. It does take me 2nd time to get it. The first attempt is wasted la

I never understand how the distress ink works, and at MMWS, they don't seem to teach it.

Nice, can tell that you put lots of time and effort!
Just a tip, take picture of the card under sunlight, the photo would automatically look twice as gorgeous!

I often make the cards at night, so I wait until weekends when I'm home during the day and line them up one by one in front of windows to take the pictures, they look way more professional

I used to buy stamp ink pads from dollar store.  They look great, but the stamps are hard to clean after used.  Turned out the stamps (esp. clear gel stamps) are ruined  doesn't worth it.

Fibbi, I'm afraid to watch those videos!  seriously.  I wished I didn't start doing part-time school before this christmas season.  I have to study every night and turns out have no time to make christmas cards.  My co-workers are urging me!  Ok I should be actually studying now.

My co-worker told me she'll have a booth at a craft fair tomorrow at Point Grey Secondary from 10-4 selling her handmade cards.  She co-host with her friends, so as LP says, maybe we can all rent a booth at a craft fair and sell our cards together, it maybe fun =)

I have the incentive to make cards because I can sell them.  Coz before, I just don't have many people 我捨得 to send to (u know many ppl don't really 珍惜 handmade cards) and because I sell them now, I can make duplicate cards after coming up with one design.
