BTW, where do you buy envelopes?
(have I asked before?)  Well I found that envelopes are so hard to find cheap locally!!

My frd just asked me if I could make her wedding invitations, the only problem I have is the envelopes....
I just don't find it worth the money to pay for so much for envelopes overall.

Well, it's gonna be really simple embossing and stamping, that 's why I thought it would be fine and my other frds offer to help so we thought it would be a great scrapbooking party opportunity

During lunch, I was thinking to myself, maybe I could buy envelopes from wholesale and sell them in 10s at a cheap rate to make some extra cash.  Just some crazy thoughts.

Have any of you attended a Stampin' Up workshop?
My frd was asking me if I would like to co-host with her as long as I have ppl interested to join us.  It's like one of those tupperware parties....

Great card! I especially like the 2nd one and 3rd one
And I have the same problem too...but not too serious. Now I try to avoid heat embossing... Do dry embossing w/ cuttlebug instead.
My pro ...

Nice!
Yeah, I like the 2nd and the 3rd one as well.

As for extra embossing powder sticking on the card, I use bouncy (for dryers) to wipe the surface of the card before stamping and putting powder on.  I would use fingers to 彈 from the back of the card and the extra powder will go away.  It's mostly static that keeps it sticks on, so using these two ways would help getting rid of it.  BTW, I was told in the static bag, it's believed to be corn starch....

Do you take a picture of all the cards you make?  I put them on a blog which I wouldn't want to publically post on LYK, but don't mind sharing with those are interested in scrapbooking so I can get some comments

Please PM me if you like and I'll send you the link.

I was just telling my hubby that we both buy all the tools before learning the skills....shopaholic in a way...so now I abandon my cricut, but i will eventually use it again.

Thanks!!!
I went to a florist at yaletown the other day.  You know most flower shops carry cards for customer's convenience.  They carry someone's handmade cards, so nicely done and professionally displayed!!

So instead of spending 2 hrs to design each card and just make 1 copy, I'm gonna from now on, try to design and make duplicate cards when selling, ppl like them!
