High Offset (50 - 55mm), 17x8, 5x114.3 Wheels?

Since we're on the subject of wheels in this other thread, perhaps we can talk about wheel options for MY crappy sub-$100k car~

As the thread title says, I'm looking for some 17x8, 5x114.3 wheels that has a high offset in the 50 - 55mm range. I won't claim to know my wheels all that well, but on Tire Rack, I think the only wheel that meets my criteria is the Enkei PF01, and I am not a fan of its looks.

So is anyone aware of other options? These HRE, TechArt, Axis, or whatever are probably all out of my price range la, so no need to recommend those~

OE 個 tire size 已經係非常之騎呢，而選擇亦唔多。如果可以 upgrade 到去 17x8 嘅話，反為個 selection 仲會好啲。

我哋呢啲窮仔就唔覺 $100k 嘅車係 crappy 嗟，但人哋富貴果啲就架車無 $100k都唔考慮㗎嘛～

7仔鈴唔係唔好，但係配我套死人 size (205/45/17) 就真係麻叉煩。行細啲 (225/45/16) 會比較好力，但依家過屋企車房個 bump 嘅時候已經好容易刮底，再行細啲嘅話會仲大鑊。而且架車個 6速波箱已經成日唔夠轉數，條直路一長少少我就係咁 bounce...

行大啲 (225/50/16) 我又驚佢副偈會無奶力，個轉數扯上去會扯得太慢...

個人覺得，如果真係夠位可以俾我搞掂個 235/40/17 嘅話，咁條呔就最闊、最好彎，而最好彎亦應該即係會最快。下個月 test fit 吓人哋套 235/40/17 on 17x7.5 ET48嘅時候，希望可以搞掂 clear 到 fender。咁我就可以去班返套 17x8 ET48 嘅 6ULR 來玩。如果真係要玩到轉大個窿嘅話，咁其實都幾麻煩㗎。

第二，唔好成日以為自己有果兩個臭錢就好巴閉。你手車屎，就算我俾架 Veyron 你都無用。楂車唔係直路加速咁簡單。想學人大吹大吹噓就唔該你去儸返幾個 championship title 返來先至再講野。但真係有料嘅人又點會好似你咁臭串呢？

第三，唔該你唔好扮心理學家啦。講親都無樣中，會俾同學仔笑㗎～

Well, quite honestly I don't mind if you inch me. But at least get your facts straight and don't make up any bs. It's only gonna make yourself look like an idiot.

Case in point -- look at Cowboy. He mocks people and I regularly inch him back. But unlike somebody, at least he's got his facts straight before opening his trap.

你成日話入來我條 thread 唔係為咗串人，咁就唔該你入返正題答吓我：你知唔知道有無邊隻鈴 meet 到我嘅 requirement？正如我響 post #1 同 post #10 裡面所講，我知道嘅只有一隻 Enkei PF01 係 50 offset，但係呢條鈴個樣過唔到我自己果關。

我自己開條 thread 出來，係因為我自己要搵鈴。HRE, TechArt, Axis呢幾個牌子我都唔識，但你響條 Porsche thread 講得出來，我心諗都一定係貴野啦。咁我又偏偏係死窮鬼一個，咁咪講定我買唔起呢啲名牌高價貨囉～

原來咁就叫做串你，咁就叫做傷害咗你嘅弱小心靈，我真係好內疚呀～

I am quite seriously considering that route as well. But the problem is the centre bore of the STI wheels are too small (56.1mm, I think), and mine are 67.1mm. So as they are, they would not fit. I could potentially have the centre bore machined (both wider and deeper, from the homework I've done) to make them fit, but then I'd need to find a reputable shop to do that, and I have no idea who can do the work well locally, nor do I have any idea how much that'd cost.

If I can avoid it, I'd much rather find an off-the-shelf solution to address the "problem".

But chobit, what are the conditions of your wheels? and how much are you looking for them (with or without the tires)? And I suspect your snow tires are 225/45/17? What model and how old are they?
