The thing is, this 50 year period has pretty much passed already. At the international level, I wonder how the issue is gonna be viewed.

So first Emperor Jiang gave up a huge chunk of land to Russia (several times larger than Taiwan, IIRC). And how Diao Yu Islands are gonna be lost as well?

Gee... thanks, Grandfather. At least Taiwan sent out a navy ship to claim its stake on the islands a few years ago.
