美國霍士電視台新聞網站以「成龍失控」為題，報道香港藝人成龍指「中國人是要管的」之言論。

中央社發自華盛頓的報道指，霍士的網頁foxnews.com以頭條位置登出了這篇報道。不過，明報即時新聞網記者在登入霍士網頁後，看見其頭條已換成其他新聞。

事緣成龍在海南博鰲論壇上，形容香港和台灣因為「太自由」而「很亂」，並明言「中國人是要管的」，否則便會「為所欲為」。

成龍的言論吸引國際媒體的關注。霍士電視新聞台的網頁，以「成龍失控」(Jackie Out of "Control")為題，描述成龍這番言論。報道說，成龍是在論壇上被要求評論中國當局審查及限制電影製作者的做法時，引伸到他對中國社會的看法。

報道說，成龍表示，他現在真的感到很困惑，到底有自由好，還是沒自由好。

霍士的報道最後特別指出，香港從1997年回歸中國至今，香港人民仍不被允許直選領導人；儘管香港民主派主張直選，但北京一再表示，香港還不具備直選的條件。

As a consumer, I don't care what I can do to improve Chinese products. If a Japanese company makes a compelling product that suits my needs, I'll buy it. If a Chinese company makes a compelling product that suits my needs, I'll buy that. There is no way I'll buy an inferior Chinese product just because I want to support them and help them improve.

Case in point -- I have a 步步高 all-region DVD player. It's Chinese-made and I am happy to buy that because it allows me to play DVDs from any region.

If our dear Peter boy really wants to "stop feeding those Japanese war criminals" as he claims, I dare him to completely eliminate using any Japanese-made items or items with Japanese parts~ Wouldn't that be fun? XD

Lik, you are making too many assumptions that you are embarrassing yourself here. You should learn from your Japanese friends since you are so fond of Japanese culture.

As you know, the Japanese used to make crappy cars decades ago, that went rusty just after a year of use. But the Japanese people still supported their own products by buying Japanese. They just refused to use foreign products as much as possible, even though they knew their own products were inferior. The same can be said of the nationalistic Koreans.

This is the reason why you are so annoying, you moron. I am not even trying to argue with you which cars are better. Why do you assume so? Since you are a car expert, that is why you are so condescending. I am just talking in general about the inferior quality of Japanese cars decades ago.

I am using cars as an example. The Japanese were just as supportive to their other industrial products as they were to their car industry, at a time when their quality was inferior. In this regard, the Japanese were way better than a coward like you.

日本人固然追捧日本貨，但追捧之餘，你估佢地真係淨係因為 "愛國" 先至買日本車？自己無料、唔識野就唔該去睇下日本對外國進口車嘅關稅、日本本土 Kei car 嘅稅務優惠、同其他限制。

咩國家嘅人就一定要追捧買返自己國家出產嘅野？你識得咁講就只係顯出你對經濟學裡面最基本嘅 competitive advantage 都毫無概念。有嘅就只係被麻木洗腦嘅愛國愛黨思想！

The Diaoyu Islands is supposed to be under Taiwan control. So mainland China is not going to send any ships there. Eh? Last time I checked, PRC was still proclaiming that they have the sovereign rights to the Diaoyu Islands. Furthermore, PRC's formal stance on Taiwan is that it is merely a rebel province, and is therefore just a part of China. Logically combining these two facts together could only lead to the conclusion that PRC has every right and responsibility to send ships over to defend the Island's sovereign rights.

So Peter boy, are you trying to suggest that Taiwan is an independent country outside of PRC's control? Saying that would be completely against your Grandfather's wishes wor? Can you afford to say something against him like that at all?

Consensus or not, PRC repeatedly claims on the international stage that the Diaoyu Island is theirs, and yet they have done absolutely NOTHING to back up their claims. Given the extended Japanese presence and occupation of the Island and surrounding waters, PRC would most certainly lose any international lawsuit on the island's ownership.

THAT is the consensus of the current situation.

Stop repeating the propaganda that Grandfather feeds you and start using your own eyes, ears, and brain.

中國貨亦唔係無好野，但呢個世界裡面，信譽可能要用十幾廿年先至建立得到，而搞臭個朵卻只須要一、兩單醜事就可以破壞晒之前辛辛苦苦建立返來嘅一切。而偏偏同國貨有關係嘅醜聞卻一單接一單咁揚晒出來，而且重要鑊鑊新鮮、鑊鑊甘。
