I don't have any financing for my car, so I don't have any monthly payment.
You are right, if I look at the tax stuff for last year, my accountant wrote off $8000 for my auto expenses (including depreciation, gas, repairs...)
so, it's almost $700 for the car including gas, insurance, parking, and repairs
$700 for my dad to pay for property tax and utilities, sometimes he buys some fruits or he cook, mum does not live here mostly, she stays HK
$300 for food is $10 per day, breakfast = oat, bread, cereal, etc, lunch = usually salad, fruit, sandwiches or pasta if I pack lunch, if I don't say at office, then something less than $10 for lunch, dinner = cook at home, or food court, Pho, something under $10 again
almost $3000/month expenses already (adding those auto expenses!) + mortgage $2000 (just about $300,000 loans + property tax + maintenance) + $1000 kids (?)
then I will have some "left over" monthly, but it will take very long time for rental house downpayment....
that's why I don't want to get married or think about kids at all
I rather finish all my designation classes, have better income and stable life |
