Vancouver South and Burnaby-Douglas and certainly tight races. But what moves me more than the campaigning itself is being able to see how Mainland Chinese immigrants are able to truly taste what religious and political freedom are like. They get to only practice the religious believes of their own choosing; they get to take part casting their votes and choosing the leaders of their own country. For many of them, these are things that they have never had the chance to do when they are in Mainland China.

    May be for these people, personal freedom is far more important than the economic prosperity, so that they are willing to stay in Canada and let the government rip off their wallet.

So what are your reasons for stay in economic-gloom-and-doom Canada then?

For these mainland Chinese immigrants, they became well educated and very prosperous in China due to the rapid growth of China.

Now that they are here, they will realize that whoever they select as their political leaders, it will not make much difference anyway. As Canada and many other western countries are going bankrupt soon.
