It is strange that there is no upscale supermarket/ Gourmet shop in Richmond area.
Maybe the lady of the residences do not cook much.
I think in this case your best bet would be Save On Food since they have better
selection of fine food compare to Safeway. There are so many places you can shop
in Vancouver, from Kerrisdale to Commercial Drive. Even in Burnaby, the A. Bosa and
Cioffi are my favourite places.

There are many fine food stores and butcher shops near West Boulevard on West 41st.
