Beef is relatively inexpensive in Canada.
CDN AA beef eye of round is only $2.99 a pound,
perfect for stir fry, feeds 4 members family 4 times a week.
Or steamed meat patties with preserved vegetables,
beef hot pot rice , Ma Po tofu, Spaghetti meatsauce etc ,etc.
I think it is even cheaper than in Hong Kong.
I hardly go to Safeway Canada, they are so bloody expensive,
the beef was on sale at Sve On Food and Superxxxxx.
Or the cheap ways for Cacausians: Roast the beef for 1 hour,
cool and cut paper thin, top salad, pasta, or rice with 1 oz of roast beef per day.
or sandwiches, mashed potatoes...............
