where did you order your cake from? and how much is it?

i went to Saint Germain... there's one that i really like with fresh roses it costs about $550...
are there any other suggestions??

A suggestion for a truly unique and inexpensive wedding cake:
Order a good  plain cake from a reputable bakery, order some unsprayed  edible flowers  from your wedding bouquet florists, get your sister team to place the flowers on cake. You will save at least 50% and A very personalized cake. The cake may cost $200 and $30-45 for fresh flowers( EXOTIC ORCHIDS COSTS MORE)
Wedding cake is all about labour cost, I used to do cakes that I charge $1000 and up for labour

From what I saw in the pictures, it is only appealed to Caucasians,
first the cake needed to be heavy and the rolled fondant is almost
inedible.  Asian style cakes are fresher, lighter and the flavors are
more interesting.  Michelle, Patisserie D'Ors,  St.Germaine,  and Yellow Sugar Fairies do very nice intricate works on decorations. The Yan Bakery on Hastings makes
nice wedding cakes and very inexpensive.
