A very interesting situation:
There are many, well at least 20 that I know(not personally)
Vietnamese coffee shops would close at 5pm, then operate
as private venues. You can see people smoking, drinking
and gambling inside. Apparently all illegal and I doubt they
file income tax either. At one occasion, the owner unlocked apinball machine and there were piles of cash inside, about $10-12 K.
He uses the machine as a safe, the question is: why would he
keep so much cash in his tiny coffee shop?
