有朋友嚟溫哥華玩, 梗係要去覓食啦! 今次我哋一行四人就去咗Bin 491 食tapas 喇~ 其實我都知道呢間嘢細細間架喇, 但真係估唔到窄得咁交關~  坐多個人都塞唔落呀! 好彩我哋早到咋, 如果唔係, 連位都無呀! 不過咁, 佢哋D嘢都唔錯架, 而且比我expect 嘅大碟囉~ 似appetizer size 多過似 tapas size 囉! 但係呢, 就無論D碟頭係咪咁大, 都要逐D逐D叫, 如果唔係, 食得慢D都要諗辦法放多碟嘢上枱呀~ 我就覺得, 如果要嚟呢間嘢, 最好就係3-4個人喇, 因為D size 剛剛好, 一人一D, 唔會太多, 又唔會太少, 可以食多幾款!我地叫咗都唔少嘢架, 有: BC Coastal Mussels, Grilled Foccacia, Bruschetta, Digby Scallop Baja Prawn Tournedos, Grilled Flatbread Picnic, Grilled Venison, Haida Gwaii Halibut, Halibut Cake 同埋Heirloom Tomato Salad 嘅~
  • BC Coastal Mussels: 我哋叫咗garlic steamed 囉~ 個汁有garlic, roma tomato, fresh herbs, white wine & butter, 味道真係好鮮甜. 查實佢哋本身已經有幾舊grilled foccacia 跟呢個mussels 架喇, 仲要未點汁都已經好好味, 但個汁真係好味到我哋要特登叫多個Grilled Foccacia 嚟點汁呀~
  • Bruschetta: 呢個仲正! 個包上面有wild mushroom mascapone pete, sauteed seasonal mushrooms, shaved parmigiano reggiano & truffle oil, 香到不得了, 仲有超多mushrooms, 加埋D parmigiano reggiano 真係絕!
  • Digby Scallop Baja Prawn Tournedos: 呢個都唔錯~ D蝦同埋帶子好新鮮, 燒得剛剛好, 唔太熟, 亦唔乾, 不過, 最精彩係個bonito butter sauce, 令到本來無咩醃過嗰D蝦同帶子更加鮮味!
  • Grilled Flatbread Picnic: 嘩~ 呢個梗要叫啦~ brie 呀~ 我哋四個人嘅賣飛佛呀~ 點可以唔叫! 我冒住會肚痛嘅危險都要食呀! 好彩~ 託賴, 尋晚食咁多cheese 都無肚痛~ 可喜可賀!
  • Grilled Venison: 呢個都唔錯, 但就無咩驚喜囉~ 但唔講你知的話, 你一定唔會估到嗰舊唔係牛肉而係鹿肉囉! 但係呢, 旁邊嗰幾舊炸goat cheese 都算有番D驚喜啵~ 連我咁唔鐘意食goat cheese 都話好食啵! 不過, 個D配菜就酸咗D喇~
  • Haida Gwaii Halibut: 呢個都有少少驚喜啵! 個魚唔算乾, 個面煎到脆脆地, 但入面就好嫩, 味到剛剛好! 都係個句, 舊魚下面嗰堆配菜都係酸咗D囉!咂
  • Halibut Cake: 呢個係daily special, 是日精選, 味到好好, 但因為係用魚嘅關係, 個texture 就乾同埋鞋左D囉~ 不過, 又唔可以咁講, 因為點都要整熟舊魚, 先可以猜爛佢再整成一舊halibut cake 囉~ 但點左佢個汁都真係唔錯架~ 可以令到舊cake 無咁乾, 又更有鮮味! 而且, 舊cake 上面嗰堆嘢都唔錯, 特別係深色D個D, 個server 話個堆深色嘢係pickled sea asparagus 嚟, 我哋四個都好欣賞呀!
  • Heirloom Tomato Salad: 講起呢個呢, 就有D嬲喇! 呢個本來係第一round 叫, 但等一生都未到, 追幾次都話就到就到, 我地連第二round 都搞掂埋先到! 雖則heirloom tomato 真係比一般蕃茄好食, 但一個連煮都唔多要嘅salad 都要等咁耐, 真係有D嬲! 但見到個salad 上面嘅smoked brie, 真係..... 嬲唔落囉~

toasted cauliflower, pine nuts, cognac raisins, granny smith apple, smoked bacon & brown butter sage vinaigrette
