大陸少林第一武僧 被美國警察擊倒

"I think Kung Fu is more focused either on defense (evade particularly)"
You don't thin those fancy blocking/evading moves happen in real life right?

"1 hit kill (not KO, i mean KILL or break your arm or get your eye or whatever)"
This argument gets bought up again and again. People will always argue oh there are restrictions because you are not allowed to poke someone in the eye hit the throat etc

lmao do you know how difficult it is to actually land that in a real match? Dont assume the other fighter is a motionless doll standard there without their guards down and let you have free shots on their groin/eyes/throat.

LOL Break your arm? Have you done grappling/jujitsu? You are free to use submission chokes in MMA...

"on weapon based combat (stick, sword, linked rod "
The weapons right now are primarily for demonstration. If you want to include that in your argument might as well include guns as well.

"Evasion is difficult in a MMA/boxing stage."
uhh.. What kind of evasion are you talking about here ? Can you provide me with a link? The area is big enough for you to move around comfortably...

"Most 1 hit kill type of deal is probably not allowed by rules, and weapons... enough said....""

See my rebuttal earlier

"and they say that guy is Shaolin probably just for marketing purposes/putting a fancy back story to him. I doubt he actually have had any training in Shaolin. "
How about you spend a little time reading up the background on this guy before just making hypothesis like that? He does have some shaolin training and have been in the combat scene for a long time..

I think Kung Fu is more focused either on defense (evade particularly), or on 1 hit kill (not KO, i mean KILL or break your arm or get your eye or whatever), or on weapon based combat (stick, sword, linked rod thingy that Bruce Lee likes to use). Not really meant for sporting purposes.

Evasion is difficult in a MMA/boxing stage. Most 1 hit kill type of deal is probably not allowed by rules, and weapons... enough said....

and they say that guy is Shaolin probably just for marketing purposes/putting a fancy back story to him. I doubt he actually have had any training in Shaolin. Those dudes are probably taught to not use the Shaolin art to do something as 'disgraceful' as making money off MMA and related.

The rules here are far more relaxed than boxing. The shaolin monk could basically do whatever he wanted (striking/kicks) except for grappling...

Wow this reply is so bad is not even funny.
First of all I am trying to tell everyone here so that they don't confuse boxing and muay thai. They are two different sports.

The punch that knocked him out was a left hook, not a jab.

If their fists are indeed so harden as you describe, why do sanda people also wear gloves to protect their hands?

The gloves are meant to protect the hands of the fighter so they don't break it when they hit someone's face.......
