Tried that today with Hai Lam chicken, green curry beef brisket, satay BBQ beef & chicken...

Good: the waitress is very efficient - fast and responsive. A young lady takes care for 5 tables with no apparent delay.

Average: taste is okay - satay dip is average. Hai Lam Chicken is a bit better than average (can't complain too much if it's not free run chicken), not bad. For food quality, nothing impressive (and nothing too negative either).

Bad: green curry is flooded with cocunut milk. The beef brisket has too much additive.

I've tried another one at the intersection of Kingsway and Royal Oak, it's cheap and good too (Same parking as HSBC)... CAD$6.75 with Hai Lam Chicken Set (I think it's tiny better than 馬拉星, again, can't complain if it's not free run chicken), including HST (STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for the price)...

P.S. - Please don't hide your name if you think you are part of LYK... Cowboy used to that...

First, I have to admit, I can't stand:

1) dirty
2) MSG, I'm a bit allergic to it, getting dizzy    (if you are fresh, why you use that much of MSG, I'm not those mainland Chinese nor I'm not that old...)
3) too pricy (depends on what you eat... normal Vancouver dinner $6-$35/person -okay, $35-$60/peson for fine dinner - very very depends, $100+ - am I having shark fins or so...
