音樂人生

Last weekend on Channel 199, a documentary about a music student at DBS in Hong Kong.   I think is it a good show, Anyone saw it? ,  haven't see such an ambitious HK young man for a while.

But somehow smart people trend to have a hard time in their early years.  If there is a rerun, you should catch it on Channel 199.

I think it has to do with shrewd family values.  

There was a scene on father was having take-out dinner with his 3 kids when he smirks at a Made-in-China violin.  I think he is implying the violin is cheap,  That sums up how he looks at his world. And that has an impact on the kids upbringing.  (Interestingly, his older brother seems to be more well-rounded.  I guess father is spending most of his time and energy with the smarter one)

I think it is typical of a young person.  Once the hormone drops a bit, he will figure these things out.
