You have to prove to the EI people you are not suitable for the kind of work you've been doing, then they will give you training fund. Otherwise, you are supposed to actively searching for employment. Going to school instead of looking for work could be a violation of EI.
Best advice is to talk to them first before you change direction.
Anyway, if you have the calling for this professional, it is a bullet-proofed job. Good luck. |
