here's how I would do (which I did before):

Call the company (you gonna have interview(s) at) and speak kindly to the receptionist first to discuss about the scenario and possibility to bring your shoes along 15mins early so that you can leave your boots with her/him while you wear your leather shoes during an interview. After the interview: pick up your boots and then go to the washroom to perform a swap.

I've been through these scenarios before (even gone as far as bring my formal dress pants along to change before the interview) and it works out great.
